check this, gunmage / havoc orb. Ruins everything
P.s. using willpower to rage conversion via the passive...works like a charm: wish caster had a similar passive
Arguing about damage per tick is kind of absurd. You should focus on damage per second.
Gunslinger's Brand is great.
Havoc Orb is okay.
Bladestorm is okay (sucks for bosses).
Everything else is sub-par and needs to be be brought up.
Don't get me wrong, you can make 'other builds' and succeed, but don't expect to feel 'powerful' like you would in other ARPGs, mowing through hordes of enemies with ease.
-> Tanky 2H
-> Glass Cannon 2H(Edge would most likely fall in this category)
-> Sword and Shield(multiple varieties including the Stasis Knight etc ; you can even give it a pistol!)
-> Dual Wield(multiple varieties, some more Rogue-ish, some more Warrior-ish ; the combos like Sword + Dagger are the best)
-> Hybrid builds(x + Catalyst ; they utilize BOTH resources)
-> Casters(of mutliple varieties: Occult, Elemental, even more Physical casters)
-> Summoners(more or less heavy on Summoning)
etc etc. You don't have to use Edge if you don't want to. Even if it is satisfying to use ; you become all Darius(LoL) like.
