Is 41 the MAX item level?
Anyone paying attention? I noticed my drops have not gone past 41, I'm level 48 now.

I thought it was but got a 2h sword at 50 today.

60 is the max "equip" level. BUT, all items have 2 levels, "equip" which is the one in the lower right and "item quality" level, which strangely is turned off by default.
Turn it on in the gameplay settings and its visible in the upper right corner.

So you could find 2 items, both "equip" level 41, but one is item quality 45 and the other 60.
If both items have similar attributes/buffs the item quality 60 one will be better/have higher numbers.


Equip level stops at 60 but item quality level goes up to 190.

I'm just glad they exist. I was bummed thinking it stopped at 41 for equipment and a 90 cap on character level.

no, also be sure to look at the top right corner of an item. there are stars which represent that items quality/better stats. 2star / 3star / 4star / 5star

Endgame, you can run expeditions up to Champion - 190 level.
"Champions of Stormfall" mode that unlocks after the story.
