Why thunderbolt is god tier, and all other mage spells are trash.

Resource consumption time is 0.1s on thunderbolt.

Other spells:

Fireball: 1.0s
Frost Lance: 1.0s - Also has 0.3s cooldown.
Gaze of Ot-Mah: 0.3s
Lightning Strike: 0.3s
Etc.

Why does this matter? Well, the low resource consuming time on thunderbolt allows you to very quickly start recovering umbra back, which effectively allows you to pretty much spam the skill non stop providing you got decent enough stats.

Why high resource consumption time sucks, is because your umbra bar will get filled up with resource consumption cooldown bar.

If you're a mage, there is no reason to not use thunderbolt as your main attack, other than "I just feel like using something else, for whatever reasons.".

My question is, why can't Fireball, Frost Lance, and Gaze of Ot-Mah be competitive with thunderbolt? Thunderbolt beats them all at single target and AOE DPS. Even if we completely overlook the extremely low resource consuming time of thunderbolt. Thunderbolt would still beat fireball and frost lance, even with a 1.0s resource consumption time.

Instead of nerfing thunderbolt into the gutter, why not improve some of the other spells?

Meanwhile, Ice meteor (I don't remember its name) had 3.0s resource consumption time. I wonder why it isn't here :D

Come to think of it I dont remember if we have nodes in the PST that increases the umbra consumption speed.

The game won't be balanced until very close from release so there is no point in discussion about how effective or not skills/spells are right now. Huge changes are applied every update.

Also, thunderbolt's low resource consumption time makes it the one of the best rage generators in the game.
