The roadmap says "co-op" is in design, whereas "multiplayer" is in development. Any idea when it will be possible for 2 ppl to duo co-op in this game, regardless of access method? I'd prefer to have local LAN/co-op mode to play with the wife (NOT couch co-op!), but would settle for the 'always onilne' crap games like D3 forced on us.

We'd really like to support to game, but need to know if we're buying into a pipe dream, or co-op (with full campaign/story mode) will eventually be available. We got burnt prettty badly by Marvel Heroes after supporting the game big-time for 5 years, so we're now very wary of games that can't be played offline/LAN, especially anything EA, crowd-sourced or otherwise unfinished.

Ok but will the multiplayer support be peer-to-peer (via Steam), or rely on some sort of back-end network support from you? In other words, not to sound cynical, but will there be any multiplayer if you shut the doors? Also not clear on the type of multiplayer you're implementing exactly, as per my question above - will 2 or more ppl be able to work through the entire campaign together, or will it just be a cut-down FFA/deathmatch style implemwntation...? Will definitely consider buying 2 copies & supporting you guys once the co-op multiplayer component goes live & we know more about the overall content & quality of the game ;).
