That's the thing.
It stopped working.
It worked fine before the update earlier, but now it stopped.
I can't even see the memory code on my cheat engine. It just says codes found, but won't show anything else, so I can't edit them.
I don't know if it's a problem with my Windows 7 Setup, or if it's a propblem with the game. I suspect that it is the game since it was working fine 24 hours ago, but now won't.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too.
You should still be able to cheat in Single Player though, I mean, who's offline mode hurting?
I like reading this
Doh!!
Don't go giving them any ideas :P.
Why man, Why!!?
It's so much fun dinging level 20 instantly, and putting 1600 points into Dex. Nothing beats 100% crit chance, or having every skill active on the passives tree.
For Science! and... Alpha testing and all that.
Wait... Dammit. I thought I bought a single player game.
Is this a competative multiplayer game?
It must be because that is where anti-cheats Have to be implemented, I was certain when I bought this it was singleplayer.
Online mode is coming soon.
For me at least, the point isn't if there will be online play or single player.
The point is that I should be allowed to be able to cheat in Single Player mode.
I don't know about anyone else, but I for one will be playing SP far more than MP.
I don't see why I shouldn't be able to cheat in SP mode, and I actually enjoy the gameplay more in SP using cheats.
After all what harm is hacking a SP game doing to anyone else?
What I would do, rather than penalize players for cheating in SP mode, is make players create two seperate characters for offline and online play, otherwise what's the point of SP mode?
I might as well just create an MP character and play an MP game all the way through, and ignore SP mode entirely.
The ONLY reason why you would ever play SP mode then, is because the servers are down, or because the online community has died. In which case, SP is the only viable option, but the SP mode has then been penalized because of online gameplay which would be unusable under those conditions anyway.
I don't know about anyone else but I don't quite enjoy having to kill mobs for 1XP each to level my toon, so hopefully, that will be balanced when between now, and when the game is fully launched.
Getting to max level as soon as possible, is partly the reason why I use cheats now.
It won't stop hacking entirely though, because people will still hack online games, just because they can, even with or without something like VAC protection.
Coincidentally, that is one of the things I do like about Grim Dawn. I can play both Multiplayer games and Singleplayer games using a modified toon.
As for op, the only console commands I know are useful are "stuck" to tp to town and "kill" to die and reset the world. Load times suck right now so I use kill a lot.
