I can say from my experience - have been in it for 4 years solid and enjoying it!
If a challenge for the cost, our group has provided copies for folks who would like to join us -
come say "hi" in our Discord when you like;
or click a Steam channel link to text myself, directly
I'd highly recommend joining one if you're really into WoR because imo it's the ultimate way to play and that's where a lot of the active player base is. But to each their own
I've played this for 5 years and I have heard , in those five years, that the game is 'dead" or "dying". from various people. Many moved onto BCoF because WoR is ..."dying". And now they are back playing.
I look forward to the next five years hearing that the game is dead.
We have players that hit the 7 years of playing. so i think its worth!
I can reccomand mostly every Company. We all play mostly on specific days where Events are organised.
and then during the week you will have many other games that ppl are playing you can join.
WoR just got new maps too. so Dev still are upgrading the games continiusly.
The smartest thing to do is to read the forums from top to bottom and educate yourself to your environment.
If you are easily offended you probably might want to reconsider the game, some of the guys can be down right hostile. :)
And if you lean to the DEI group, you probably won't like this game either.
But you never know.
Buy it, try it, if you don't like it you can get a refund.
