I can say from my experience - have been in it for 4 years solid and enjoying it!

If a challenge for the cost, our group has provided copies for folks who would like to join us -
come say "hi" in our Discord when you like;
or click a Steam channel link to text myself, directly

considering theres 70 people in the world playing the game right now, probably not. this game is as close to dead as it could get, all time peak was 1200 players, . . . . . . which is not a lot. if you are on during us daytime hours you will be lucky enough to find 1 server about half population while every other server is at 0. the game is barely surviving off 1 server

it doesn't reach it like everyday im pretty sure after checking its charts, maybe EU and some people keep these servers alive?
its getting harder to finda full game even on the weekends...not for the casual player at all unfortunately. Development has just been too damn slow.

I know regiments/discord groups aren't for everyone, but there are populated games hosted as events practically (if not literally) every day of the week.

I'd highly recommend joining one if you're really into WoR because imo it's the ultimate way to play and that's where a lot of the active player base is. But to each their own

I've played this for 5 years and I have heard , in those five years, that the game is 'dead" or "dying". from various people. Many moved onto BCoF because WoR is ..."dying". And now they are back playing.

I look forward to the next five years hearing that the game is dead.
On 8th of February i made 1 year in the game with the 42nd Pennsylvania (union).
We have players that hit the 7 years of playing. so i think its worth!

I can reccomand mostly every Company. We all play mostly on specific days where Events are organised.

and then during the week you will have many other games that ppl are playing you can join.

WoR just got new maps too. so Dev still are upgrading the games continiusly.
You know, I always find these types of questions on the silly side. You want to buy the game but then you're going to base your decision on the opinions of others? You know you're going to get tons of Pro and Cons when you ask.
The smartest thing to do is to read the forums from top to bottom and educate yourself to your environment.
If you are easily offended you probably might want to reconsider the game, some of the guys can be down right hostile. :)
And if you lean to the DEI group, you probably won't like this game either.
But you never know.
Buy it, try it, if you don't like it you can get a refund.
