Gaming laptop Temperature - acer predator helios 16 phn 16-71
The stats of the computer are sufficient to play the game! i-9 processor and 8gb memory on graphic card and 16gb of DDR 5.

My CPU runs 85c when playing this game on high settings, and lowering settings does little to nothing to temperature.

So my question is, is there something in game settings, or otherwise, which could and would lower my CPU temperature? And also is 85/86c too hot for gaming laptop? Internet gives me very controversial opinions on the matter so i really dont know if it is even too hot.

GPU temps are fine, even as low as 55c when gaming on high settings. so thats not a problem.

So any advice would be appreciated!

PS. I REALLY LOVE THE GAME!!! But if its an optimization issue that the devs could fix, that would be lovely and great! <3

TawGrey pointed you in the right direction, but this game is CPU heavy. It has come leaps and bounds since it's launch on Steam, but it is not made by a major dev company, but more of a labor of love.

EDIT: not to say that a gamer wouldn't know this, but elevating the back of your laptop with anything or getting a cooling tray may help slightly with this issue. I have had friends ask me why their gaming laptops overheat, and that is one thing they commonly didn't do. Laptops in general struggle for heat dispersion due to their compact nature. You also don't have a liquid cooling sink on your CPU that a lot of desktops do these days.
