There is no hidden server list that we can see while you can't.
It's also a matter of timing, as several servers are brought up at peak times. But these are closed event servers, so there's only one way to get onto them.
Aside from that, there are events servers - many never play in the public servers but only attend events, exclusively.
Some prefer to not experience the insanity from among those individuals who detract from the competition of winning a map.
Thats it. No mandatory anything other than represent the unit well and don't be a ♥♥♥♥. Easy rules.,If you cant make an event, you cant make an event We are glad to have you whenever you can.
I suspect most units are like that.
No priorities of mandatory training or events. You get to fight with the same great bunch of dudes in organized events when you can AND you still get to play pubs if you wish.
There are no downsides
If you can make a Wed, Fri, Sat, or Sun anytime between 8 and 9:30ish you will be able to get in a private event. Cant make those the pubs are often busy at those times as well
Most regiments are pretty laid back with attendance. The general age of WoRs players is a bit older than many other games and life comes first. I would say outside of when you first get into one you can come and go as you please. Although my regiment doesn't have mandatory attendance they encourage new members to show up for some drills at first just so they can be on the same page as everyone else and not lost in the sauce during an actual match.
Hell, we have some guys that pop in every few months, disappear for several, and show back up again down the road. Is what it is. Because the player base of the game as a whole is small in comparison to many other games I don't think anyone takes attendance too seriously.
