DOWNVOTE'S BEING ABUSED TO DOWN VOTE GOOD PLAYERS NOT BAD

WHY IS THAT EVEN A THING.. it is quite disheartening an personally totally kills the game for me in 5 years i have never felt the need to stop play this game but now ppl literally kill my hopes for humanity its so discouraging for new players to even try to lead a group of ppl with there being this constant undertone lack of trust that its sickening someone always coming in from another company just to undermined you that is not apart of the game but its ppl some how make it apart of the game like if you dont have buddy's in the game you have no chance do anything the way ppl misuse the down votes an why the ♥♥♥♥ is there not an up vote like how did anyone not see the possibles miss use an or the possible misuse of it enough to have the forethought to have knew that something would have to counter that... its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sad when ppl just down vote ppl for no reason at all and then hide who they are play the two faced game of o im your buddy but then talk ♥♥♥♥ an have you down voted behind your back

From time to time a comma or a period would potentially have been an advantage for the comprehensibility of the text...

So, what was the problem then? You took on the role of an officer during a public round? And then there were downvotes for you? Only a few or so many that you were kicked out of the role of officer?

100% true,
the "mob mentality" will occasionally prevail within the public server..

Until some sort of change to the public server setting occurs, hopefully brand new players may be able to objectively find a good group to join with for events, and not quit or get a refund.

sounds similar to some of my experiences..
regardless of the individual situation, it is the general tendency of
the mob" or "the crowd" it be swayed, and, including those servers which include admins or possibly are run by a player group that manipulates things.

Would be nice if 1) admins could undo downvotes
2) upvotes were a possible counter
3) there was a timed reset option for servers to choose at their will, so that downvotes don't last more than a set period. A day, a week, a month, 3 months etc etc.

they had to do the events with the demotion system disabled because the officers easily exceeded 30 votes lol

reminds me of the of one day, ina pub server..
a Union guy made a general statement about how the CSA side didn't have any good leaders..
and one of us playing the Union side as officer said: "you do realize that all of us officers are Confederates"

Being down voted isn't the end of the world. You can still play the game and be an idiot, you just do your idiot stuff as a private. Excessive down votes ensure that toxic idiots can't be officers that ruin the game for everyone. The system had to be added to the game because little toxic children idiots would grab the officer spots and do stupid stuff. Don't want to be down voted? Act right and shoot right. It's not that hard to do.

Maybe it was just a rant because he was pissed off because he received quite a few dowvotes due to his "performance" as an officer? It happens.

I find the 'mute' command to be invaluable in this game. I don't care about downvotes, I rarely use it. But, I play exclusively in regiment planned events so I don't really have to much.

i have seen times where the downvote system gets abused mostly when regiments dislike a certain individual and this may not even be on their server and they convince their entire regiment to downvote a individual for no reason ive seen this happen in person maybe 4-5 times however i was only able to get bolth sides of the story twice so the other times i cannot verify anything
