Alpha update 176 - Hotfix 4 Released!

Hotfix 4 for update 176 is now live:

- A potential fix for demotions not updating when crossing the minimum player amount threshold.
- Improved the server performance.
- Fixed the search bar of the tab view not always keeping the tab view open when clicked.
- Potential fix for players getting listed outside of any regiment/battery/unenlisted category on the tab view.
- Reduced the thickness of the lingering gun smoke (should result in less overly white/bright smoke).
- Players should no longer become stuck in an artillery-round carrying position without actually having an artillery round in their hands.
- Manually entering At The Ready by right clicking while being at the Double Quick will now put you into Quikctime.

Can't join servers after update. Get to the "establishing context" message on a game in progress then ctdt, when trying to join a drill camp I don't get that far.

Restarting Steam and verifying files didn't help. I noticed the 400 man test server is gone from my list.

I have tried to join a match 5 separate times and the game crashes, this did not happen before the hotfix was downloaded. Plz help

Getting same result as other after update, game keeps crashing as I try to join servers. This is only day 3 for me on the game and this isn't too impressive. Also, please for the love of god add some kind of kill count, I mean why wouldn't you?? Realism is fine but this is still a game and I want to know if I'm getting better, nor am I actually going to eat hard tack and not wash for months at a time. Come on Devs, you have the bones of a good game here but you need to make these issues right.

They as a studio shouldn't be releasing updates/hot fixes during weekends - your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up organised planned events!!! especially for the EU guys who have they're events in like 1 hour from now!!!! but I appreciate the DEV's activeness, just wait until Monday before releasing it Fancy/Trusty. commonsense for any studio

You are crashing because you are trying to connect to outdated servers. The issue should resolve itself as soon as they have been updated and restarted.

The official test server is up to date and working.

The glitch where you get stuck in the artillery round carrying position after loading still occurs. It seems rarer now, though.

I take back the "rarer" comment. I encountered the "q-tip glitch" twice within a half hour: once on a 3" on Garland's and again on a Napoleon on Reno's.
