I get that the revolver is extremly OP, but like, one or two extra "mags" for the remington aka 12 bullets for the other pistols or more for the Lemat, wouldn't ruin the game
I feel like it would add a degree of realism, simply being *able* to reload your gun, but it would be so long that it wouldn't really be a buff.
There’s too many Officers dying recklessly which often leads to units breaking down in cohesion while the Officer is respawning or running back to the unit.
12 shots might upset game balance.
Gameplay quality and balance should always come before realism.
it's 6 shots, 20 minutes of reloading (whilst standing still) and 6 more shots
unless it's with the 1858 remington, in that case maybe they can nerf it somehow
Get this. Your troops are in a line, you order them to fire, etc. You don't really need to move, so you can reload during that time.
Or here's another idea. The confederates have the LeMat, which is an OP-ass unicorn revolver with 9 rounds and a shotgun barrel underneath the pistol one.
How about we give the ability to reload the Remington New Army once or twice, and give it only to the North, as they were the main buyer.
As it stands now, an Officer can easily kill more per spawn than anyone else, and he isn’t designed to be a fighting rank.
And applying your balance principle should also apply to the ranks?
Confederate rifle muskets on the whole are older and not as good at range as Union guns in the game and that will never be balanced out.
