Moving is your usual WASD layout. Kneel using CTRL key.
Charge is SHIFT, quick and double-quick are toggled by 'C'. There is a stamina economy that negatively impacts your accuracy, so be aware of that.
Reload and cancel your reloads with 'R'. You'll find yourself canceling reloads in order to shift with the lines as they move to-and-fro and also if the enemy is moving to melee you and you don't have time to complete, aim, and fire.
Fix and unfix bayonet using 'B'. The bayonet has a negative effect on accuracy, so only fix bayonet if you think the situation calls for it. If the guys around you are fixing bayonets, you'd probably best do the same.
Engage and unengage Melee using 'V'. Hand-to-hand combat was rare in the Civil War but is fairly common place in War of Rights. So do not neglect practicing the procedure of fixing bayonet, going into melee, and stabbing.
Hold down the ALT key to look around without moving your body. This is particularly useful when you are reloading, to avoid being snuck up on. It is also very useful when marching, to avoid getting too out-of-line.
In-game chat is hold 'N'.
I hope this helps. There will be battles Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at around 7-8 PM EST. Feel free to fall-in with the Second Corps on the Confederate side, which is home to two or three of the biggest and best regiments in-game, in my opinion. There are also a few very competent Yankee regiments, as well. But whatever side you choose, definitely link up with a company--you will get much greater enjoyment moving in column and line than lonewolfing.
