It really depends on how you look at it (are you wanting to play with a group/where are you located?).
WoR is a heavy team oriented game with the vast majority of its playerbase being americans.
These two things combined with the niche genre that an authentic civil war game of course is, means that you'll see organized activites at set ours, usually in the evenings, US time.

I don't mind small player numbers personally, it's a very nice game, but sadly even if only 15 players, I get 3-5 second+ hangs/freezes randomly - usually when being fired at or being melee'd. I do have a 10 year old PC though. But I don't get these 5 second + hangs in other games. Basically FPS goes to 0.2 or something I suppose? Odd that other games it doesn't happen. Also have everything as low as possible, apart from resolution, set native to my monitor
I was wondering If I should get it... Looks like a great game, but a lot of niche games like this usually mean that Australians miss out because the server population is either European/American based. It would be fantastic if the ping wasn't so high.
