There are no bars around

Sometimes, I see patrons of a casino (maybe in other places as well, but I have only noticed it there so far) complaining about no bars being around. Even though there are three different large restaurants featuring bars, with one of them just one floor under the casino.
How comes these patrons don't notice them?

Also, high level guests prefer cocktail bars.

What is a small bar? Among the small restaurants, I only see food court, cafes and donut shops and I also don't see small bars in the medium restaurants menu.
I don't have a coctail lounge yet, but also no deluxe hotel rooms (I suspect I may still have upper class vsitors from the city, though).

Also, they tend to stay "There are no dinner spots around" and "I want to grab some dinner, but where?", even though there are multiple dinner places in the tower and they are not overcrowded.

Coffee, donuts are also considered bar.

Cocktail bars are not required only by deluxe rooms guests but even by junior suits guests.

The complain is a bit generic, anyway, better always have a coverage of all types of restaurant.

Even a small coffee can attract high tier guests.

I do have multiple cafes in the tower - they were a requirement for legal offices.
Anyway, I'll try building a coctail lounge and see if this stops those comments.

To place a bar, look for restaurants that say "has a bar" in the description. Those are typically establishments that are medium size or larger, and open late.

Thanks, but as I mentioned in the OP, I had three different restaurants with bars.
Also, this seems to be a problem specifically with casino patrons regarding all kinds of restaurants - they keep lamenting about not finding a breakfast or dinner spot, even though there are multiple different kinds of both.

It has something to do with Pathfinding issue. Make sure that you put ALL restaurant with bars RIGHT next to the elevator. I have that issue as well in my save.

Out of curiosity, does this happen only with evening events, or daytime events, or all of them? Just wondering if maybe they leave evening events and hope for a breakfast place but none of them are open yet...

Ah, another question: does this happen only at night when the restaurants are closed, or all times of day? (For example, if you placed a 24h diner, does that make them happy?)

Apparently if you reload the save game that save after midnight, lot of hotel guests will wake up and complain that there is no breakfast or coffee place available. Since all cafes are close and hotel guests also seem not bother to visit 24h diner, they will leave negative complaints after checking out.

It seem that saving game and then reloading the save seem to reset NPC behavior (apartment residents and hotel guests) which make the game annoying.

It happens at all times.
Here's a screenshot - you can see that the patron (who, regardless, still has a smiley face) is complaining about no bars when there is an Italian restaurant, a Mexican restaurant and a sports bar open.

This is still happening for me as well. Game is riddled with bugs like this.
