SimTower - Who's played this?
I bought this game because of its similarity to Sim Tower. Who's played that game in the past?

Don't watch lets plays. I watched too many back in July, and it almost ruined my excitement for the game. I stopped watching after 2 weeks (several different youtubers), because they spoiled way too much and I still want to learn and be surprised by the game. I've seen way too much already. :D
jup... playing rimworld as "substitude" atm, and got cities on sale today... so I guess i will get around the week without spoiling too much PH
Played SimTower back in the days (also on a Pentium :). When PH was announced it tempted me into loading up DosBox and playing a bit Sim-/Yoot Tower. And ja, also Rimworld to pass the time until release.
Someone gave me a copy of SimTower in 2002, played it on WinXP, but kept causing the computer to BSOD. I played it in a VM in Windows 3.1 (On Windows 10) recently.

Playing Factorio atm, with Rimworld in the queue. Vaguely remember playing SimTower back in the day but back then my time was mostly consumed with SimCity 2000 and Civ II. Considering downloading Yoot Tower but I'll probably just keep playing Factorio until PH is released.

IIRC my CPU at the time was a Cyrix 6x86

I played it circa 1994 on my then new Pentium 90mhz which had a whopping 540 mb hard drive, 8 mb of RAM and a 1 MB video card.
Played it in Windows 3.1 on my Pentium 60 back in... 93-ish?

Yoot Tower was the spiritual successor to Sim Tower that came out in the later 90's and, I think had one of the original programmers work on it. Added a lot more features to the game and it also runs on Windows 7! Been playing that for a couple days to wet my whistle while I wait for this one :)

Still have it.
This will be different.
Bought the Windows 3.1 version, when it first came out, for $49.99. One of my favourite games of all time. I've been watching videos of this new game over the last several weeks, very eager to start playing.
SimTower was one of the first simulator games that made me fall in love with the genre as a kid. Been watching let's plays and finally decided to pre-ordered this. Very excited for next week!
I used to have a dedicated Windows VM to be able to play SimTower :)

i still remember the first time i hit Cathedral... my life was complete.
SimTower was the reason I bought this game. I hope they will be comparably fun, but in order to avoid disappointment, I haven't set my expecations too high. This looks like fun and it's the only tower building game I've seen since Yoot.
