SimTower - Who's played this?

I bought this game because of its similarity to Sim Tower. Who's played that game in the past?

i would love to play a simtower in 3D, where i need to plan hallways and such.

This is definitely something I also dreamed of since playing the original in my childhood.
It'd probably be pretty hard to manage, though, since you wouldn't be able to look at your tower at a glance. It'd have to have one hell of a clever interface to be really playable.

As for the main topic, I can't imagine too many people that would be here that didn't play Sim Tower, honestly. It's basically a spiritual successor to the game.

Sometime 2D is better.

I agree. Like Prison Architect or Airport CEO.

In games like PH, player need to quickly watch the entire situation.

SimTower is one of the greatest pc games ever made in my opinion. Playing it currently on Windows 10..along with Yoot tower, but I like the original better

I played Sim Towr way back - the lifts were fiendishly difficult to get just right...

Agreed. Tried firing up Yoot Tower a few days ago, but it's not the same. Horribly incomplete, terrible interface/UI, and bad implementation of the "place specific types of shops". Distressingly inferior to the original.

I should have launched up the original, but didn't want to fuss around with using DOSBox to run a virtual Windows session at that particular moment.

Have since been entertaining myself with Europa Universalis IV and Exanima while awaiting Project Highrise.
