How do I hire maintenance workers?

I recently started playing the game.

I completed the tutorials and started my first tower.

By accident, I clicked on the maintenance office and then the remove button. It's annoying that the game doesn't ask to confirm... but anyway.

I re-built the maintenance office but there are no workers in there.

How do I hire two maintenance workers, to replace the ones you get at the start of a new game?

Can they get there? Like are there stairs or someting for them to be able to get in?

It looks like you removed your construction office and didn't replace it. Build that and you'll be good.

Ah, I see! I deleted the construction office and, thinking I had deleted a maintenance office, added a new maintenance office instead.
