So, question. Did you place the compressor yet in the B1 basement? I don't see it in your screenshots, and according to the patch notes you can't place the other units until the compressor has been placed. I'd imagine that's the problem.

NEVER had to place it in basement before, couldn't.

Yeah, but that was technically a bug. The compressor was supposed to be required from the beginning, but it was just an oversight that left it so you could build the others without it. That's why they updated it in the patch notes so it's now acting the way it was supposed to from the beginning. You should still be able to do it in your AC tower by just placing it anywhere in the B1 basement and you're good to go. :D

I'm honestly confused if you really can't place it in the basement. At that point the devs would need to take a look at it, because there's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't work as long as you have the space and money to place it.

Anyway, sleep well and I'm sure we'll make some progress on it tomorrow. :)

That's right! The intended order of operations is: first you place a compressor in the basement (level -1 specifically), and then vents on the sides from then on.

Build 1.5.0 did have a bug where you could place vents without a compressor, but then they wouldn't work right :(

As I see in your pictrure, you don't try to place it on the edge of the building. Try placing it one space to the left, on the real edge of the buidling.
The small deco on the left does not count as the unit, the proper unit is only the 4 tiles with the engine.
