The HVAC units and closets place a lot of unecessary restrictions on building

Thanks.

The solution is to place event halls 3 tiles from the edge of the building -- you can then place 2 large HVAC units on the side. This also works to contain noise, since halls don't care about the HVAC unit noise. I tend to put several of the 2-story event halls in a row, so there's no wasted space.

I keep trying to place HVAC connections and it doesn't seem to work. Any advice what I'm doing wrong? It's the ducts that seem to be giving me problems.

@Oldeguy -- how did you change the name of your hotel?

@Harr -- did you place the compressor in the basement? You need a compressor (10 units of HVAC), and you place the side vents to add more.

Thanks. No, I did not. Now it makes sense.

OP: just not place trash bins near tenants. Just like in the base game.

Also, no need of two water utilities closet on the same floor, one at the side of the other.

Building tip for the right side of the building: leave 5 tiles at the right of the elevator. 2 for the utilities closets and 3 for trash bins or HVAC units.

About the 2 floors tenants: yes, they are a little tricky to manage. A simple workaround is to place multiple 2 floor size tenants on the same floors like large casinos and large conferences rooms.

Change the name of your building when you start a new game. :)

Ahhh! OK! I was looking for a way to change it while playing a scenario! ;-)

Changing on a scenario... Maybe we can work something like that into the front desk dialog or something like that...

EDIT - Seems pretty straightforward. We'll try to get something like that in the next patch release.
