Furi

Is this game really that hard ? :/
One of my friends said it can be close to the original Ninja Gaiden Black but I doubt it :/ Last hardcore game I have played was Evil Within on Akumu and Metal Gear Rising, I consider all 3 Dark souls games easy because once you know how to approach situations and exploit weaknessess it becomes easy. So what makes this game so hard ?? Also Metal Gear Rising was also surprisingly challenging !

I haven't played most of the games you listed (only played MGR and Bloodborne).

Bosses require memorizing patterns that can sometimes be difficult (maybe even impossible) to react to. Once you learn the patterns, it still takes some dexterity to actually beat a boss but it's not that hard to just get through the fight.

Unlike the souls games, Furi doesn't want you to just get through the game. You have a harder difficulty with new patterns to memorize, rankings based on how fast you are and how few hits you receive, and a speedrun mode. So if you're into score chasing, there's that.

Overall, I'd say it's harder than the souls games, but not as hard as Rising (which is easier than other action games imo). There's a shortage of exploits (I only found one, and that only gets me through one stage of the fight).

I recommend picking up Devil May Cry if you haven't already.

Rising is complete joke, even on Revengeance difficulty. Burst gave me more headace than Senator. DMC is different case tho.

Well I just beat it first time on normal difficulty, game overed twice in total, it was challenging but not really that difficult.
Started hard mode afterwards... now THAT'S hard ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Absolutely amazing game though.
Furi dificulty is not a great deal, but furier... omg. The last part of each boss (bullet hell) is completely insane. Imho I would say that in the furier setting this game is really difficult.

Eh, asking questions about difficulty on the steam forums really isn't a great idea. Difficulty is subjective and people experience differnet situation in very varying ways.
Beside, there are thousands of people that say every game is piss easy and if you die even just once you're a total scrub and should stop playing videogames.

But if you want another opinion. I didn't have any big issues with Furi. It has a very distinct rhythm to it, which when figured out makes the game incredibly easy. Mostly it's about pattern recognition and reactng fast accordingly and a bit of dodging.
The hard mode "Furier" is the logical step up in difficutly. Different attack patterns, less room to dodge and less time for paries (which are incredibly important in this game).

Furi is an amazingly fun game. You can play through it fairly quickly but the real fun lies in wanting to master the game, S-rank everything and getting a somewhat decent ranking in speedrun (at least for me).
If you have a bit of experience with games that are commonly reffered to as "hard games" you probably won't have much of an issue after a short while getting used to the game. But if you're a reviewer for kotaku, you should keep your rage pants close.

And of course:If you die even just once, you're a total scrub and should stop playing videogames for good.

The standard mode is really easy. I could take down most bosses on the first try, and one or two after 2-3 tries.

Really, you need to memorize attacks and know when to hit, and when to shoot. Not that hard at all, especially not Gaiden Hard. The game is really a breeze due to color coding of attacks and how bosses telegraph their attacks.

At least on default difficulty. Higher difficulties is another story entirely.
