Why doesn't Song's comprimise unlock Furier mode?

Is it really an ending if it doesn't?

Does that mean it does not happen, that its all in the The stranger's head?

Did the devs not think that people who like peaceful comprimises also like greater difficulty?
Ect.

Note; I am aware that it doesnt really matter and am going to play through again to get past her.

Yeah the whole it's as legit of an ending as any other thing wasn't the most thought out part of the game.

Actually, you are completely right. This ending, which is designed as a legit ending, should unlock Furier mode. We thought that players would enjoy more Furier mode once they are "ready" for it (meaning after they beat all the bosses once), but I like your reasoning better. We should have unlocked Furier after this ending.

By the way, there is a cheat code in the game that unlocks Furier mode from a fresh game, but it has never been found yet :-). We'll reveal it eventually.

Hey, its cool. I wouldnt be able to beat the first boss on Furier mode anyways, im still stuck on the sniper girl, so your reasoning was also sound.
As I mentioned, it doesnt really matter as I wanted to beat all the bosses in normal mode anyways.
