So annoying enemies using my portals

This getting annoying that the enemy drones can use my portals and destroy my base easy. Drones should not be able to use my portals. After few maps of this same thing, makes this game not fun. Playing on Day 19, last room with drones, destroyed many buildings and units and one shot my ship all using my portals to jump around.

Then be careful where you put the rifts! Always put them behind your units, or if you're *really* paranoid, surround the rift by your command ship with blasters.

Well, you know, this game has been out for more than 10 years. In all that time, me and many, many others have dealt with those sneaky drones. :)

It's just part of the general game-play and one has to learn to deal with the threat. One hint I'll give you is that you can disable the portal the drones are aiming for and then they won't pass through it. Another is to have some guards by the exits of the portal.
