Having problems using combos with the "G" key

I am using the keyboard to play and it seems I cannot do any move in the move list that uses G (Which I am guessing means the "Grab" button) Not only I cannot do the "push" (G while blocking) but neither can I do the special move Hurricana (While doing the aereal special, press G, with Bruno)

I can do all the other moves correctly, I can also grab opponents using the grab key but any special move that uses the Grab button seems unresponsive.

Anyone knows how to fix it? Do I have to use a controller?
