How long do I have to play until I can unlock her? It's the only character I really wanna invest time into.

What character are you using? Go to Carnita's way and max your STR with Pollo Tacos. Then go to the Wee Mart and buy Dry Beef Sticks. In Warp Zone, but Whips and Vampires (if that is too expensive, buy Ghost Chili in Carnita's Way, I think that's the one). Then go to Little Tokyo, right in front of the Sauna, and grab some fish. Now go to the Disco and smack people with your fish for money. When you are good to go, Near Merv's Building in Rollingwood there's a place where you can buy coffee. Buy lots of the last one.

The most difficult part I am sure is the one with the planes. Find a safe spot, stay behind the cabinets. The second room is probably the hardest. It's best to have a character that can combo like Paul, Glen or Ryan to make things easier.

Thanks but I already beat it about an hour or two after posting that. I have no clue about stat increases in this game.. Are they permanent or not? I think I hit the sauna like once before, that was it.

Depends on the stat. Willpower (WLP), which you can increase by purchasing Street Fightin' at Bookface, needs to be increased every time like Stamina (STA) which you can increase in Wanna Sauna or just with any other item you consume.

All other stat increases are permanent after consuming items. When you level up only the maximum cap of your stats increase.

my favorite was riki (always was in any kunio-kun game) MY god he's so great to use tho the many deaths are me being a fool. (ya know. like how sometimes ur good at the game and suddenly ur dying the funniest ways) tho cheaply so...kinda (this game is broken in a "player op" way) i mastered him, max level, max stats and one more move to unlock. i got everything maxed with em. i looked for other characters that are fun to use and didnt really feel it (ended up with alexis for a while.) now i got chris and i really love using her. aaannndd i already found a cheap trick
