Looking for hidden characters

Anyone got any leads on how to unlock more characters than the 10 we all know in story mode? I heard on a stream that there are more than 10 playable characters in story mode. Would love to anyone has found anything out. I've seen pictures of people playing as slick and purple bee, but people have been saying they are just bugs.

If you mean for Arena then there's William which can be missed on being unlocked if not doing something specific....but if you mean more story characters after Wes and Chris then Idk. OG Alex and OG Ryan from the tutorial are also character you can use for the rest of the story if you have "backer" or special version of the game but I think you can also use cheat engine to play as them too.

Good information. I've heard of the arena characters. I'm really hoping there is a military character we can unlock that uses Guile's moveset like the mercs. Might be a long shot though. I'm beginning to think there are no more hidden characters :(

It's a bug. The key for the skins doesn't exist yet.

haha, well they are selectable plus all the backer weapons are in the pirate version, but that version uses the launch game, ie no patch updates, I downloaded it a few days after I bought the game just to see if it had that content, which it does, and they are (Alex OG & Ryan OG) completely selectable if you save and quit at the auto shop, which haha also has the chain whip ala Castlevania, it's too bad that version is completely illegal and useless to me since I have like 41 or so hours or something on the Steam version.

There's even a way to force the bug to happen: Unlock New Game+, reach the tutorial hideout, pick one of the OG characters, save and quit. Bam, OGs anywhere.

Yes while all this is true I'm telling you in the pirate version they are 100% normally selectable in the MAIN GAME and the chain whip is in the auto shop and double taped baseball bats is in the empty garage hideouts. I didn't play it long enough to find the golden trash can or cd, but all the backer content is there, there's some kind of config file listing 3 sub DLCs of Steam, the exe is obviously hacked and so is the steamapi.dll that comes with it because it's 4 times the size it should be!! but it is version 1.0, no update 2, 3, nor 4.

Oh i see now. maybe the ghetto gang and the police?.........I definitely wanna check out Adam Park and the basketball court/Oceanview area

then why are they completely selectable (non-bug) in the main game in the pirate version? If not I'll admit I'm wrong, but I know what I saw, and I can only say the dev knows the real answer.

The multiplayer save patch will fix issues with Kunio and Riki being selectable at the wrong times.

(Just to update you on progress: The patch is pretty much done, and we've started testing it. Being such a huge change, there's a fair bit we have to test.)
