Need help on how to perform a "Flare" on Provie

Hola steam community, can anyone tell me how the controller button input for the move listed as "Flare"

"K from backspin or P from freeze frame" is what it actually says, any light on that would be great.

Or any pre-existing conditions to the move, like if you have to be doing another move first.

A lot of the moves are parts of a combo. Try chaining moves together and see if any have been extended.

Try this: press back and Special at the same time.

Wow! Even confused as to how the input could involve special, given what the listing said... Back and Special at the same time worked on the very first try.

The moves list is more often wrong than right. The only thing consistent is which button (K, P, S) that actually makes the move come out. I just try adding extra buttons on top of what I already know until I find it. (Or look on steam forums =P)
