Bug Antennae Planet 2 and 3 don't work

I've watched walk throughs and have tried playing the bug antennae every which way but the bugs on both planets will not release the cloud so I can't progress. Playing on PC, anybody have any ideas?

i have the same problem - wondering if there is anything else im supposed to do = ive spent the last ten minutes clicking on the antennae and nothings happening

Hmm…well, I know the pattern starts with clicking once on the leftmost antenna, so if you do that, does the antenna hold a vibration? Because it should, of course, at least for a while. Or are you both saying that even that isn’t working?
And if that *does* work, then the pattern for that first little asteroid with only the one bug, is left (antenna), right, right, left, left, right. That should work as long as you complete exactly that sequence.

my son helped me figure it out - took me forever to realise that keeping the antennae vibrating was what worked - so basically it was something i was missing seeing - that he saw straight away - then i read this - thank you i now know im on the right track.
