Not a problem with Witness, Talos, both Portal and many dozens of others. This isn't what I expect from a puzzle game, and I'm very sorry.
Guess since I played my first (Zork, 1986) I've become accustomed to being 100% self reliant, and that's just not possible. Generally I'll walk away before resorting to YouTube or walkthroughs, and I don't feel that will be an option with S3.
Beautiful game though, and one I've wanted since pre-release.

Hope that helps you out a little. :)
Good point and click games can be rather fun even if the way foward can be a bit of a "rub everything on everything else due to weird logic sorta ordeal" but ones like this are just a combination of tedium and anger...
The three totem poles was also completely impossible to solve - the correlation between the spirit signs and how tall they need to be, MAKES NO SENSE... i had to use a walkthrough for them.
