Firefighting Simulator lets you experience what it means to fight fires up close as an active part of a major US city's firefighting crew either together with up to three friends in the co-op multiplayer mode or with the aid of AI team members in the single-player experience.

The core gameplay loop involves selecting a fire scene and responding swiftly with the fire engine. Upon arrival, deploy water hoses and other essential equipment while continuing to extinguish the fire, and finally, await the results once the fire has been fully extinguished.

Issuing orders to the AI teammates can be a bit of a challenge at first, but it's undeniably convenient to have them handle tasks such as preparing the fire hose, fetching the axe, and running various other errands. These AI teammates will also proactively assist in putting out fires once given the appropriate instructions.

There are about 40 missions with day/night cycles and frequently rotating team members, and even the same missions don't feel repetitive. Plus, the randomized incident scenes provide an extra layer of variety. This is not a game you'll just play through and be done with there's an ongoing sense of discovery and replayability.

Completing missions unlocks new missions, but you need to level up by gaining experience points to be able to play them. While the basic rewards are high for completing the more challenging maps, they also take a longer time. So, the key is identifying the most time-efficient missions to maximize your progress.

The game's visuals are quite impressive, with the graphics standing up well compared to other titles in this genre. The actual firefighting experience and the realistic portrayal of the flames are enjoyable. With further refinements and improvements, this game holds the potential to provide an immersive and authentic firefighting simulation experience.

I highly recommend it. I would rate it 7.8 out of 10.

Works Well | 6DOF | FPS 80-90 4K, High settings, DLSS on Quality, OpenXR, Native Stereo, Resolution Scale 1.0, VD Godlike, ASW Off

Note: Whenever you switch from first-person to third-person perspectives, you must keep the motion controller balanced, otherwise the character will tilt to one side

Thanks for taking the time to create the profile as I've put over 30 hours into the game, playing it single player with the 3 stooges ai. The immersion in UEVR is fantastic, but I use my Xbox controller instead of motion controls, as I find it easier to command my squad and also don't get any camera issues when switching back and forth between 1st and 3rd person. :)
