I read that currently this is an option for Multiplayer only at present, and you need to have completed the mission once...
I have not tried this but you could try to set your game to multiplayer 'invite only', this way the game is in multiplayer mode, but no-one can join you.
Worth a shot until they enable it for single player...
Or you could try and play with others, in most cases they seem more reliable at times than the AI
It doesn't add anything to the game in terms of challenge--the traffic is minimal at best and always gets out of the way.
It doesn't add any urgency at all. As long as you actually go to the site, the mission you selected will be there in the same condition as if you just popped in at the scene ready to go.
I'm not asking for driving be removed from the game entirely, I'm sure many people like it. But, I'd love for it to be optional because for me it is just a tedious chore that doesn't provide any sense of accomplishment or progression.
