Hi squintal,

The AI isn't able to use the extinguisher. They will bring it to you, but if you want them to extinguish fire, they need to use a hose.

Best regards,
Tim

Thanks for your honest words. We already put the "AI should be able to extinguish fires with CO2 extinguishers" topic on our feedback list so that it can get evaluated by the developers.

We will try our best to improve the game on the basis of the community feedback, but please note that some features, improvements and/or adjustments are more complex and therefore time-consuming than others, so they can't get implemented immediately. But as I said: We will try our best to meet the exceptions of our community. Thanks for your support and patience. :)

You should add that feature because of using Walk in Rescue missions they do nothing. Also maybe 1st person fire fighting?

So you want to tell me that 2 years have passed and you were not able to make NPC firefighters use the most basic tool... Some missions are greatly affected by that when playing singleplayer mode.

And it's now 3 years and yet firefighters ai cannot use fire extinguishers. What kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ developer are you?

I agree. The AI is useless and Devs do not seem to care... it shouldn't be bought by anyone anymore

If you can find it for under $10, which I did just over a month ago, then it's totally worth it to play through the missions single player. The 3 stooges are actually manageable once you know what to do with them, and I personally put about 35 hours into the game to finish it.
I knew the game was over and done with 2 years ago, but it was still fun to play through the available content, especially for the price I paid.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
