Do we only have one chance to successfully complete the game?
I apologize if this questions sounds dumb. The reason why I ask this is because of the game's title itself, "one shot". We even get a message earlier in th game telling us that we "only have one shot" to save the world Niko wakes up in. Do we actually have just one chance to do this, or are we still allowed start multiple playthroughs?

You are allowed to do multiple play throughs, to do so, check the clover file again, you can get a hint there.

I didn't read what you included in the spoiler tag just yet because I didn't finish the game yet, but thank you for answering!

I dont know if this answer is spoilery, but Im putting it just in case (sorry!) In the non-steam version of the game... You only had one shot. If you quit the game without saving (sleeping in the bed), you would've gotten a perma game over saying that you killed Niko (yikes...). Good news is that it doesnt happen in the Steam version, as Niko just calls you out for leaving/not saving instead. Also, Im not sure about wiping the game files, as you will need to delete a savefile later in the game ... however what I would not consider spoiler is that if you turn off steam sync and download the game on a different PC, you should be able to start from the beggining.

In the older version of the game, you could only do one play through. If you quit or turn of your computer, you wouldn't be able to play it again.
In the Steam version, you can do play it multiple times. Unless, they changed it.

I very glad the devs decided to change that, because I would feel extremely pissed about not being able to start a new playthrough in a game that I payed to have. I can totally understand the magic in such design choice, but the only scenario where I would condone it was if the game was free to play (many years ago, I actually came across a flash game that also only allowed for a single playthrough that could be end in failure, but like I said, that game was free to play).

You can actually play the older OneShot again.
