I understand the puzzle aspect but in a game which is drawn with small squares I don't tend to look for object interactions as subtle as lighting. It's a little silly to expectsomeone to constantly think in the meta of graphics.
Just feels like a cheap shot at trying to make a clever puzzle. What's next, do I have to imagine the referigerator is rusty and i need to use a stick to scrape off the rust into a cup and use it with something??? This is just silly.
The remote mentions it's too dark.. There is light in the window.. I'm afraid this game might be fairly complicated if this is going to be difficult..
You will have to think of all kinds of solutions that are not directly given to you. You need to think for yourself, rather than the game thinking for you. You will find all sorts of objects with very little hint what to do with them other than intuition based on what you see around you, considering your environment, situation, and what you could imagine doing with the objects you pick up, it starts to flow fairly freely.
The game seems to be pretty well made, and the story and theme behind the gameplay are soft and admirable. Start working those internal gears, and you should be able to make your way through the game without issue.
It stumped me for several minutes, I felt kinda dumb when I figured it out.
haha jeah, i stucked, too.
had to look it up =/
it´s not a bad thing though, im just not used to think by my self any more.
but after that puzzle i thought "jeah, okay, i have to ook around and look on everything twice and boom, the puzzles are quite easy when u think about it, what makes the game even more great!
games ply themselves nowadays, and u can loose your sence in gaming over the years =)
After that, even completely disregarding the description of the remote, you can figure out a puzzle just through sheer trial and error by using items on everything, that's how my friend just did it while I watched him play the opening scene lol. He told me afterward he didn't even notice the description until I said something about it
