Please don't make the same mistake Battle Fleet 2 did!

Battle Fleet 2, a game similar to Atlantic Fleet, was once a great turn-based strategy game.

The dev changed that by forcing an unnecessary unlock system on everyone. Before we had all the ships, weapons, maps, and so forth available from the start. Now we need to grind over and over to unlock what was once available.

As someone who bought that game when it was released, I am furious over the changes as its ruined the game for me. I'm not going to spend hours unlocking stuff that was originally available from the start. I bought a damn turn-based strategy title, not a grindfest RPG.

Anyway... my point here is: Atlantic Fleet devs, PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!!! So far, your game is amazing. I really, really enjoy it. It's actually one of my favorite games on Steam. Don't make the same mistake the BF2 dev did and turn a once-great turn-based strategy title into some half-baked grindfest.

Good news! We agree.
Killerfish Games' design philosophy does not encompass grinding or Skinner Box game play. There are plenty of games already doing this...

We don't do advertising or in-game purchases so there is no need to keep you mindlessly grinding away or force you to pay additional money just to make our games enjoyable.
