Help with the two Whackas and the crossbow
Can't figure out any way to get rid of them, because no matter what I do one of them kills me. Any help?

Remember what you learned in the tutorial about dealing with Wakchas :)

First, put the arrow you found in the arrow, then sneak up on the first whacka and throw him into the water, after that the second one is chasing you. run left, hop over the button which activates the crossbow and let the whacka kill itself with it. Hope that'll help

Ah, that makes sense. I hadn't done it that way. I came from the bee screen side and dove into the water to avoid a charging Wakcha, then got out and ran past the crossbow and jumped over the button to kill the one...then I could leave the scene by the ladder without the other following me...then I basically went the long way around and used the same route again entering from the bee screen side, and I noticed that the poison dart/arrow was somehow still loaded, so I ran over the button again and killed the second one the same way as the first. I knew the dart being reloaded was a glitch, but wasn't sure if it glitched because I'd done anything incorrectly.
Mentioning this in part if the developers want to fix it, though it's doubtful many others would do it the same way I did. :)

Hi there! We tested that section a lot to make sure that the situation you're describing was impossible to happen. So sad to see that you guys managed to reproduce :( but I'll try to tweak it further for a patch!

This drove me crazy, because I managed to kill with the dart just the one that is patrolling, avoiding the sleeping guard...and arriving to a dead end. Problem is that it doesn't seem like a dead end, and you can keep going on with the game for a while.

Having exactly the same issue (including the glitch with the arrow). I killed the patrol with the crossbow, and then tried to lure the other one away. As that didn't work, I solved everything possible and now I'm stuck between the bees and that sleeping guard. I assumed I have to lure the bees to kill this guard, but I died countless times trying. Now I'm glad I finally took a peek into this thread. I will have to start from the beginning again as I don't have a savegame that old.

The game is really nice, but such a dead end is really frustrating, if you were stuck for several hours (I just wanted to find out myself how to solve it). I hope you will save future players from this frustration. ;)

To reproduce: I first sneaked up to place the arrow in the crossbow, candle off. Then I got down again, lit the candle, went back up, killed the patrol guy with the arrow. I saw, that the sleeper was alarmed (and I died from him too a couple of times), but as long as I stayed at the torches, he didn't came for me. After I lit the torches and then went down the ladder, the sleeper either still didn't came after me or (in another try) was to slow to catch me (I had to jump to the platform on the rope to escape) - hope that helps in some way to reproduce the issue.

@Lhurgoyf: Nah, you don't lure the bees to kill the sleeping guard. (I'd thought so, too, but nope.)

@Lhurgoyf and everyone else: that dead end is now fixed and the patch will go live very soon. Sorry for the inconvenience and trouble it might have caused, that situation slipped our QA process these past months.

@TekuStudios: Thx in the name of the - hopefully - many players to come. :)

I'm still stuck here after an hour of trying. I've got the crossbow set up, pushed the patrolling whacka, ran left, jumped over the trigger and even though the dart fires, the sleeping wacka still kills me everytime. The only time it hasn't is when I've accientally fallen off the cliff and the dart has killed it - but I'm also dead so no save.

Maybe the crossbow trap its not for the patrolling wakcha...

All good. After doing the same thing for what felt like the 50th time, I got it to work. Onwards and upwards

@TekuStudios I'm in the same boat with my savegame, killed the wrong enemy and now I'm stuck. The patch might have fixed the issue from happening but what happens with those players already affected by the bug?
