Report a translation problem
No such bugs ever occurred during testing. If the issue does not involve additional steps to reproduce and the cursor is bugged by default - there is either a mod to blame or a verification of your game files will fix it.
Need more people reporting what triggers this behaviour as it is not happening on random and all the time- just in specific "trigger"-events.
My Guess the problem lies in enemy UI update stack it could also be affecting nvidia cards.
True. Sometimes it's just outdated graphics drivers. But we've noticed mods causing problems like this in the past and none of our 20+ computers have ever displayed this problem (probably because we run 'vanilla' builds)
Of course, on the off chance that it IS a bug on our end we'd need either a way to reproduce this problem or have the Log.txt tell us where/when the error occurred.
Sorry to hear that Wills. We have approx 30 different PC/Laptop configurations with numerous peripherals in our studio but nobody ever experienced a similar problem that you're describing.
Since you're the first person (ever) to report this issue, it would be impossible to get to the bottom of this problem without your assistance. Even then, it's extremely hard to find what the problem is when we're unable to reproduce the bug in our studio.
Please send us your DxDiag.txt to customersupport@starpointgemini.com with a short description and a link to this thread - and we'll do our best to see if there's anything we've overlooked.
Also, it would be helpful if you could:
- start the game
- repeat the bug
- exit the game (any way is fine, even task manager or restarting your computer if you can't exit normally)
- go to Starpoint Gemini Warlords game folder and find the Log.txt and attach it to the email as well.
I don't see a answer to this post yet but I think I found the issue. I purchased the game about an hour ago and I've spent that time researching the bug described in the original post.
I play flight sims with a HOTAS/Pedal set up. Upon research, I found that the game likes automatically switching from controller to mouse depending on which is being used. Be cause of this, while my HOTAS/Pedals were plugged in I was unable to stay in mouse and keyboard mode. As soon as I disconnected the flight controls, everything started working like a dream. This might be the case with other forms of controllers, but I have not tested XBOX, Steam, or PS4 controllers with this theory.
From one gamer to another, hope this helps!
our game was designed to recognize if players uses keyboard/mouse or controller. I will report your research to our main programmer and see if we can reproduce it, and hopefully fix it. Thanks for report, this is gold.
