Just a topic to clarify if and how the game will run on a given system.

OS: Windows 10 @ 64 bit
Processor: i7-4770k CPU @ 3.50GHz(8CPUs)
RAM: 16.0 GB
Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (192-bit)

Those specs are more than fine. But optimization will be something developed throughout the EA period I think.

But those specs more than covers the minimum requirements.

There were a number of optimisations but also a number of additions to the game engine. GTX 760 should be well within parameters of running the game but 540m is a pretty risky bet, no guarantees there.

We won't be hard limiting the game so you will most likely be able to start it with 540m. Also keep in mind that as you go up in levels, credits and story there will be an increasing number in ships that are more demanding on your hardware.

What level of performance can I expect with a 760? Low, Medium, High, Ultra?

Early Access game will be much different then finished game so telling you how will your game work on exactly that computer is impossible. Also, maybe in two months when we add plenty of content to the game, your FPS will drop. Then, a week after that, when we optimize it, it will run better than when you started playing.

Since this is Early Access, game is opened, unfinished and unpolished, because we have many things planned for developmenet during EA, it's literally impossible to tell you at what settings level will it run.

I can tell you that I'm running it on Asus ROG laptop:

i7-4700HQ @2,40 GHz
8 GB RAM
250GB SSD
GTX 860M 2GB

It runs smoothly in Ultra details.

Hehe Its not Ark Survival where you battle for each fps and do all sorts of combinations just to get that extra frame. No sir.

If you have a decent Gpu and Cpu- u good to go!

Just updated my kids PC's this week as well.

Tip to other players, Don't have lots of kids who are into gaming , along with their Dad working in IT. My Playroom in our house looks like an Internet Cafe. (5 Desktops, 2 Laptops, 1 PS3, 1 PS4 1 Wii, 1 Wii U and an insane power bill).

My 3 boys pc's just updated to;

AMD FX-8350
Asrock 990FX-Extreme 3
32 Gig DDR 3
ASUS Strix Gforce 960 GTX

But I do make them use they crappy old Mouse, Keyboard and 22" monitor's

My kids and I - All these have SPG 2 running on them quite often, Have my own SPG Battle Group :) _ My wife sits in the left corner, Was not allowed to snap her in the picture....Think its a bad hair day...hehe
