Fixer Perk and new skill
Is it working? I activated fixer 3 but my hull is not repairing even when not in combat and ship is stationary.

Not really a fan of the new skills. There's no skill for faster shield regen in combat, which was part of the old skills. The shield sometimes will not regen out of combat.

I don't think any of the perks actually work yet.

When you are out of combat make sure to set your power distrabution to shields and pop a shield booster.

That's the thing, the old skill had a booster skill that you can pop to convert enery into shield. It was working fine so why remove it and now I have to pop a shield booster for the same effect? Regardless, shield need to regen much faster out of combat.

Hey Muffinman,
we'll take a closer look at the Fixer Perk and see what's going on - some perks are not properly implemented yet as Tal Maru said.

About the new skills, we wanted to move in a direction where the skills have an active effect that you can immediately see instead of having a lot of underlying passive effects. You still have the equipment shield boosters for combat of course, we agree that waiting for the shield to regen out of combat is a pain so we'll give that some further thought

The boosting skill (number 1 was it? I remember it was the green skill) was boosting passive effects but had a rather active effect. When it was applied and you had invested heavily in it, the effect was very noticable. This was good for whether you were in or out of combat. Can't you allow alternative skill that goes into slot 1-4 so we can swap out skills that we like instead of being locked into these 4 "new" skills? I'm really not very enamored with any of them outside of shotgun.

We will discuss them more, but right now, since it's been less then 24 hours since the update we will wait for more feedback before changing anything. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, I will try to open a thread on new skills, if needed and gather all feedback in one place.
