The Base game, Deadly Dozen and Titans return are the Campaign, the Other DLC adds new game play styles that require new game starts. So for the base campaign your all set!
Endpoint is an additional story to finish off the Warlords storyline, and worth picking up and playing once your done the base campaign.
Other DLC's are not required to get the full feel of the game, but as said above give other game start options to give you other ways to play the game in speciial sandbox starts, some with certain mechanics which make the game play quite different to the campaign playstyle.
Thank you.
Will probably buy the Gold bundle eventually.
Have already bought SPG3, but will wait until it's out of EA.
Another question if I may, am I missing out on anything story wise in SPGW having not played SPG1 or 2?
If you have not played the previous games, your missing out on the Lore, but Warlords is quite playable even if its your first adventure into the SPG series.
If you a LORE buff, the previous games are full of information on what has been going on, and their storylines are enjoyable. SPG 2 still holds a very special place in my games list.
But no, playing Warlords your not overly missing anything critical. Enjoy, go out and conquer the Gemini Galaxy Commander!
