I don't think there is such a page for our character artist. Our previous artist had a great deviantart page, but he wasn't responsible for characters in Warlords, but rather all landscapes of Gemini worlds...

The face modelling feels pretty detailed in this game indeed. I wouldn't be surprised if they're after someone in real life.

Although not exactly sure how the low cut outfits seem to be a fashion among many of the female crews. Space is a damn cold environment and even with the ships' supposed to be onboard heating facilities, that level of revealing is kinda outta place.

If you notice space to be cold, chance is you may already be dead.
Given the fact that a ship has engines and all the stuff and the only way of loosing temperature in space is by black body radiation and that we keep rather close to the suns in the Gemini Sector chances are cooling down a Ship is more a problem than keeping it warm.

Alright, alright. As hard as we may try to find a plausible scientific explanation to the situation here, I think we have a good idea on what's behind the style.

As far as I know, Tara Higgs is the only fashion guru around, the rest are too shy.

As for the portraits, they are modeled on real people. For example, most of our team members are in game, our friends, wives, some of our community members, Iceberg crew... :)

So... i am artist responsible for almost all portraits, icons and lots of other stuff in SPG 2 and Warlords so blame me! :):)

Yeah... sex sells and if you ask me to choose from 2 options; for one millionth time young or seasoned WASP masculine fighter type man or one millionth time young lady with cleavage i always choose lady! :) Like to draw boobies! eh... :)

For this particular case i don't remember if i had any description, probably yes because Tara is one of the main characters in the game... But lots of portraits are made by me without any direction or descriptions... so they are my friends, colleaques, enemies, people i despise, or people from internet :)
