Good destroyer?

I am looking for a destroyer that can handle itself well in a fight. I bought...I think the Ihr or whatever the red one is called and am not really enjoying it. Was wondering what everyones thoughts were.

And just to get ahead, whats a good cruiser?

D : The Concord Sigma can use all of its weapons front. Very deadly.
C : GSE Mogul. I know, it is not sexy, but it does the job very well.

Sigma bis destroyer. 12 turrets shooting at the target that's in front of it. + Stealth and even one squadron slot, it's hands down the best destroyer.
Cruiser - Eiras is godmode, literally.
I was taking on 1-2 dreadnaughts at the time and ending up victorious with it on extreme diff. Has cloak as well which is a HUGE plus for me.

I prefer having Sigma Destroyer with Apophis plasma cannons. It gets work done.

I'm more of a railgunner :P I rolled with Severance turrets. (Am still with Severance III on all slots on my Battleship)

I do wonder however, is there even something stronger than it?

Depends on your target. Severance does low shield damage, so Hatred3 and high end plasma weapons will do better against strongly shielded targets (eg Halberd).

True, but I used EMP torpedoes vs them, and also on my Eiras I boarded them, shut off their shield generators and blasted em to pieces.
