Being allied means easier trade deals and factions quests though. Both can give a lot more than those bonuses.
Hi BanzaiRoundCat,
once you complete a faction side quest, the faction which quest you completed will start donating you stuff every once in a while, as long as you keep them allied :).
That's cool! It will definitely come in handy now that we are getting invaded something fierce. Gotta build up more fleets for defense!
Quick question though, by "donate" do you mean resources and the like? I ask because Materials are a bear to build up and they are used for practically EVERYTHING. I get having a rare resource for, say, shipbuilding. But it's also used for research, and building Concordia, and sending civilian fleets on tasks...so having more of that would be AWESOME. Also being able to sell civilian fleet-gathered ore would be awesome, but that's just me.
Hi again,
with donate I mean resources yes (sometimes ships even).
if you have neighbouring factions which are not enemies and they have stations in your zones or adjacent to your zones, you'll be able to trade with those stations via Civilian Tasks.
By trade I mean sell ore for materials and other...
Also, civilian tasks will be modified on Release, to be better balanced out.
