Really poor framerate
I'm using a 64bit Win 10 PC with a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and I get incredibly poor framerates that's almost unplayable where it feels like I'm underwater and everything is delayed and slowed down. I've updated my drivers and that hasn't done anything. I can only really get it to work when its set to 1280 resolution. But I don't understand why this is a problem to begin with?

Even at 1280 resolution I have the same issue. My specs are a little worse than yours but, still there's no reason it should run this slow on any modern computer imo

The game just came out, so I assume that these problems will be fixed soon. I have been having similar problems with a gtx 1060, and 16 gigs of ram, the game usually runs at 30fps, with a few spikes of 144 fps, and I couldn't find an option to set a frame rate cap. It will probably be fixed soon, as the game was just released on pc, so all there really is to do about it is wait for patch. As for the feeling of "being underwater," I think that at the moment there is some bug where the physics engine is frame based, so the entire game's speed is set around frame rate. When my frame rate spikes, the entire game runs at light speed, so there is no possibility for reactions, or when the frame rate drops everything slows down to the point where sprinting is slower than walking on a regular frame rate.

Yep me and you have the exact same parts with the exact same problem...

Mine is fine until an explosion or the ghost comes out. Strangely this didn't happen last night. When I first ran the game it came up with an error that i was running at 3840x2160 but it ran fine anyway. No issues. Tonight though, I didn't get the error and it still ran fine until those particle moments. It's 100% GPU regardless though.

It is as was said, that the movement speed slows to like being underwater, then suddenly it comes back to normal but sometimes not until a minute or so after the effect/ghost stops.

I seem to get that slowdown too, but i can fix it with following things,
1.Go to options and setup your resolution and refresh rate.
2.I put same resolution/refresh rate that I ALLREADY have
3.go to game, it should now work without "matrix mode"

(I need to reapply this everytime I start the game, but it works fine after I do that)

When set to fullscreen the game runs like it's in slow-mo even during the intro and in the main menu. If I switch it to windowed or windowed borderless, it seems to revert back to a (somewhat) normal framerate, but the resolution is like half of what my monitor supports (1440p).

My rig should run it just fine (Ryzen 5 3600 + 2060S), so it must be a bug.

Would be nice to hear something from the devs on this.
