Overlunky online and bans

I wonder if i can actually play Overlunky online with my friend so we can train ourselfs, but at the same time i can't tell if i will get banned for using this program.

I'm not sure if Overlunky even works online. I don't think you'll get banned as long as you don't play the daily challenge with it.

You can play the daily challenge, but any desinc will probably block you from that day's leaderboard i believe.Using mods on dailies only gets you banned permanently from fan leaderboards.

Multiplayer might work fine if everyone has the same mods, but i never tested it.
