Online Ghist Shop...

I enjoy being cursed, especially for the True Crown and the Ghist shop. But one issue with being cursed is online play is others taking the things you worked to get. For instance, I normally get cursed on 1-1 or 1-2 and live for 3+ more stages while cursed. And the difficulty in not getting hit in this game can be rather difficult. So wouldn't you think the cursed person should get the ghist shop and True Crown? I mean the person goes through the effort and then is expected to just die?

Don't get cursed with voiceless strangers if you don't want them to steal your goods.
Some try to be courteous with goods but you can't rely on the goodwill of others if you're playing that kind of game.

Definitely. The cursed person 100% deserves the ghist shop and maybe even the TC. Most of the people I play with let the cursed person have the ghist shop. If you are having trouble with people killing you after or taking the ghist shop for themselves, you can always go to the official Spelunky 2 discord where you can find people with mics and are usually better players. You can also try friending the randoms that you worked the best with and see if they want to play some more games.
