How many hours have you spent on this game until you finally finished it?

It's been a while now but I'd say it took me either 30 or 60 hours to complete the normal ending (I think it was 60).

About 90 hours for the hard ending & 180 hours for special ending.

If I remember correctly it took me 44 hours or something like that. But I had never played Spelunky 1 then.

I have 445 hrs into the game and still haven't got co ending, but around 40 ish hours into the game i got my first tiamat win. Then again i was grinding playing 5 hrs straight per day

Lets just say I've done every daily challenge since the game came out and I still haven't beaten the co. I am quite stubborn though and refuse to use the route that gives you an extra life if you do a skip so I think if I tried doing that I could possibly make it based on my furthest depth.

Not at all, I don't think its cheating! I am a high score runner and will never turn down going through City of Gold and also the guaranteed jetpack!

I still don't think a guaranteed jetpack is worth the cost of the ankh (even if it's about a fifty fifty for whether I get to keep it going Abzu) or the hell that is temple plus Duat.

Ah okay, that makes sense!

I like temple a whole lot more than tide pool but usually only end up going that route if I get early jp or climbing gloves to save ankh. Should probably do more duat jp runs tbh!

If you dislike playing with Vlad's cape it atleast saves you the trouble of endlessly resetting for jp shops.

If by finishing you mean getting all the achievements then i needed ~600 hours. Basically this game is what helped be to somehow waste my time during the pandemic.
