Mad respect bros...but I quit this Temple life. I still go Jungle though.
Osiris is very predictable and the fight can be fudged quite easily. Anubis II can be dealt with using a quick sticky bomb before he has any time to attack as well.
I think the biggest hazard is probably Apep but it is easy to tell where he will spawn based on the geometry of the level (lots of skulls will be piled up as well as lava pits).
With that said, I do agree that Tide Pool is the easier choice by far. The secret level can be tough if you don’t have enough resources or Excalibur though.
Temple has the crush traps which can be a lot to deal with when there’s lots of enemies around. I still can’t get over the fact that the Croc Men can telefrag you which is instant death, was the same in Spelunky HD. I just don’t even mess with those guys if I can help it.
Most of the tide pool monsters forget about you once you're off screen.
