What’s the least annoying way to get the 1 mil achievement? I have every other one.

Just rob Madame Tusk's basement in the Neo Babylon area. Open the treasure chests by shooting them with a shotgun dropped by a dead guard. But instead of immediately picking up the gems wait until the time runs out and let the ghost fly through the gems. This will turn them into diamonds and increase their value by multiple times. Then escape from the ghosts by means of a jetpack and pick the diamonds up. If I remember correctly this should give you >500000$. The rest must be collected in advance (by blowing up the terrain containing gems with sticky bombs and stocking up on them again in black market), but that shouldn't be to much trouble if you are good enough to rob Tusk's basement.

What breakfast said but also bring the clone gun, for 3 more chest. Should give you around 900k and then you just have to finish the easy ending for the last 100k.

Also you can carry the chests to the same height before opening them for easier outrunning from the ghost. But if I remember correctly I still got the achievement without doing that and by converting only half of the gems. Or did I have to do it for a second time after all? I don't remember. Anyway who cares? You got the main idea.

Also remember that there is a ghost pot behind a laser in tusk's palace so you can use that to spawn the ghost immediately.

Best thing about it is... you can do it in any run, no matter what you get, given that you don't kill Tusk in Tide Pool.

You can kill/anger her anyway. You just need to be good enough to deal with her guards afterwards.

was at the same point as you are, did it yesterday. Took some time to get this.
MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD:
brought the clone gun to madame tusks, won her game in 4-X five times to get easy upstairs access and get the clover.
I've entered top door and then let the downward guard shoot himself/get killed, got back up and shot everything with invincibility frames by entering and leaving the entrance.
cloned 3 chests, let the ghost come at 5:00, got 750k from it. Only really collected idols before, 1-1 till 1-4 don't really matter.
didn't have paste, you don't need it. you need 3 bombs though for the lasers at tusks.
So if you're about 250-300k , you should be fine after tusks. Tiamat gives 100k extra, and you probably have a shotgun, so don't stress yourself out.

you don't neeeeeeed it, but it is very helpful to collect some money in advance and later deal with Tusk's guards if you don't have a shotgun at that point in time. (also it's a good idea to buy a pincher's mitt, that will help to hit the guards more easily, since the sticky bombs can be thrown forward in a straight line (but be careful with throwing sticky bombs when there is a force field in front of you))

also having a shelleton key will make it easier to get into Tusk's basement, especially if you dont get the Tusk's invitation by winning in the dice multiple times (which BTW is impossible if you choose the Egypt-path)

a (more or less) easy way of getting a shelleton key BTW is to steal one item from a shop in the earlier levels, then find Sparrow in the jungle, who will always drop a shelleton key when killed

Just to clarify, you can kill Tusk but only after her palace has generated. If you kill her before 6-3, the palace will not spawn.
