Lol, resident evil 4 and 5 took the game away from what Resident Evil was and used to be. Those games weren't survival horror. They were action horror. At least Resident Evil 7 is back to survival horror. Also, you don't get the chainsaw for 20 coins and bobbleheads. The "circular Saw" you get for completing the game under four hours. Infinite ammo you get from mad house but based on your post? You don't sound like much of a resident evil fan so I think you'd struggle there. Also it makes me laugh when people say what is and isn't a resident evil fan. Try doing Resident Evil Remake, knife only, invisible monsters, and on hard mode in 1 hour and 47 minutes. I did.
I beat resident evil 2 in 1 hour and 6 minutes. I've beaten resident evil 0 in 1 hour and 43 minutes. I've done speed runs on all the original resident evil games and have accomplished things that you probably only dream about in those games and watch streamers accomplish in wide eyed envy. So I think I hold more weight when I claim.. Resident evil 7 is the closest experience we've had since 4. Is it as good as remake? Resident evil 2? Or resident evil 3? No, but it's right up there.
LOL in your profile you don't really have much if any survival horror games and on steam the only resident evil you have IS SIX. Get out.
"man, halo, idk, that game kinda sucks. You just kinda move 2 joysticks and press the right trigger when things line up. All the levels are indoor or outdoor, not very inspired. There is no leveling system to power up your armor guy. Just over all bad experience"
He can't. He'd need to use the lawn mower and even that would get stuck.
I just want less people paying for this piece of crap.
because if more people buy it capcom will think it was fine to make a repetive short easy puzzle no scare scenes survival game and just ruin the next sequl too, i loved re1-5 and now its all going downhill.
Blab all you want. You still don't own the game and your "review" about it is worthless.
I don't think you've played it because there was quite a few misinformation in your above post. Not to mention resident evil has been going downhill since 4. Not six. It moved away from survival horror. If people keep complaining about this game capcom is going to go "Huh. Back to six style then. Action really does sell better." Seven is far superior to six in everyway.
But atleast 5 had a very good storyline, and fun boss fights, that ending with wesker in the volcano was the best ending to the series.
I just deleted 7 off my ps4 hard drive, i'm taking it back in the morning, i also remembered that the game store i bought it from has a copy of resident evil 4 hd remaster for the ps4, for like 30$ i'm gonna get that and re-enjoy the game.
Also don;t bother with final fantasy 15, it's way repetitive and grindfest midgame, and has an awful "betray the player" style ending, mmk.
Opinions rendered invalid, disregarding.
4 still wasn't survival horror. You had a merchant who sold you things, you had items that dropped off enemies, and plenty of ammo to gun your way through the game. Resident Evil 4 still had some interesting locations but it wasn't a survival horror game. Saves were not limited, ammo was not scarce, and you weren't really encouraged to be very careful with your health. Also enemies were more likely to drop ammo/health based on how many/few supplies you have, It became very easy to predict when ammo would drop or even a healing item and five was even more action than four.
Resident Evil 4 and 5 were decent games. Even good games but they were never good resident evil games. Resident evil 7, especially on madhouse, introduces very few ammo, limited saves, tough monsters/bosses, and encourages exploration/running as opposed to fighting it out. We haven't had this since Pre-Resident evil 4.
