Is it supposed to look bad?
I have all my settings at max and it still looks like ♥♥♥♥. Maybe its just the intro forest that looks bad and when I get further it looks better. Looks all blurry and lacking detail. Anyone have settings advice?

THAT should be your subject line.

I didn't have this problem, it looks good, nice and sharp @ 1440p. You might have the brightness up to much, this game looks like ass if it's too bright.

Thanks for the useless reply.

Forgot to mention, both AMD and Nvidia offer driver level sharpening, AMD's is called Radeon Image Sharpening, and Nvidia's is just called Image Sharpening. Both are found at the driver level. Start with 20-30% and go up from there.

can you post a screenshot?

it's hard to tell if you're having a technical issue or just dislike the aesthetics of the game

It looks like you might have interlaced rendering turned on.

Make sure render mode is set to 'Normal' and Resolution scale is set to '1'. Both are under graphics options.

Put your resolution scale to 2 if you can. It will look even more better.

I did have interlaced on but thats how it was default. I already had it at 1. It looks a bit better but not as good as some other screenshots I have seen. I have read some other posts and some people even say one day they boot it up and it just looks better. So who really knows.

Static screenshots will always look a lot better than a game in motion.

Too bad my static screenshots still look terrible because the game looks terrible for me

I sit with AMD's Image Sharpening on 80% but mainly because I have an old PC and play most games in 1600x900. The image sharpening is indeed a fantastic tool for improving graphics at lower resolutions :)

It was interlaced but I turned that off after someone commented.
